Shirley A. Grube

Shirley A. (Hartman) Grube, 71 formerly of West Brunswick Township died March 11th, 2010 in Manor Care, Pottsville where she had resided since November 2002. She was the wife of Paul R. Grube, West Brunswick Township. Shirley was born in Tulpehocken Township, (Host), Berks County and was the daughter of the late Ray and Anna (Reedy) Hartman. She worked as a secretary for 25 years for Paul Grube Associates, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Drehersville Evangelical Congregational Church and graduated from Hamburg High School in 1956. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sherry G. (Grube) wife of Brian Wessner, Upper Tulpehocken Township, and Pamela A. (Grube) wife of Keith Haas, Centre Township. Other survivors include a sister, Kathryn (Hartman) Shearer, Lititz, and two brothers, Ray Hartman, Ft. Myers,Fla. and Larry Hartman, Richland, four grandchildren, Neil and Nicole Wessner and Daniel and Dylan Haas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 15th at 11:00 AM in Zion Blue Mt. UCC, Strausstown. Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be private in Drehersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 237 Court St., Reading, PA 19601. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
