Shirley E. Eisenhart

Shirley Elizabeth (Lutz) Eisenhart, 80, died October 15, 2006 at 6:06 pm in her Muhlenberg Township residence.

She was the widow of Leo Henry Eisenhart, who died December 14, 1979.

Born in Laureldale on June 25, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Anthony L. and Edith (Folk) Lutz.

She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

Shirley was employed 25 years as a Knitter by Camp Hosiery, Reading, before retiring in 1988.

She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan.

Shirley is also survived by a son, Leo A. Eisenhart, life partner of Dale R. Boyer of Reading and three daughters, Linda E. (Eisenhart) Marks wife of Fernando O. Garcia of Muhlenberg Township, Anita L. (Eisenhart) Cipolla of Mohnton and Pat A. wife of Bob White of Ontelaunee Township.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. Grant A. Wickert officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
