Shirley M. Brynan, 81, of New Hanover Township, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest where she was a patient for 6 days.
She was the wife of Charles W. Brynan, Jr.
Born in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Emma (Hoffman) Bohner.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Spangsville where she had served on the Womens Guild.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, in addition to her husband, she is survived by a Daughter: Shirley M., wife of Richard Kenney of Newville and her Son: Charles W. Brynan, III and his wife Barbara of Perkiomenville. She is also survived by her siblings: Robert, Lamar and William Bohner and Joan Wegman, Lorraine Hoff and Virginia Ziegler and her Half Sister: Jean. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carrie, Barbara, R.J. and Kate and her Great Grandaughters: Piper and Teagan. She was predeceased by her brothers: Kenneth and Donald.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10:30 am in Salem United Church of Christ, 307 Covered Bridge Road, Oley. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends and family may view on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 am in the church. The family requests contributions be made to the Shirley Brynan Memorial Fund, c/o Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, Pa. 19547.
