Sheryl S. Lawlor

Sheryl S. "JJ" Lawlor, 62, formerly of Gouglersville, died October 17, 2011 in ManorCare, Laureldale.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Shirly Faust; and raised by her grandparents, Irvin and Hulda C.B. (Shoelkopf) Faust.

She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in 1967.

Sheryl was a longtime listener of the Doo-Wop radio show on WRAW, where she was a co-host, as "JJ".

She loved spending time in Vermont, where she had previously resided. The change of seasons, in particular the fall, was a highly anticipated time for her.

She is survived by two children, Mark A., husband of Karen Lawlor, Oley; and Marlie S.E. Lawlor, Reading. Five grandchildren, D. Michael Lawlor, Connor R. Lawlor, Iesha M. Serrano, Katerina Lawlor and Cara Lawlor also survive her. She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Marissa Lawlor.
