Shawnee M. Koch

Shawnee Marie (Stormer) Koch, 40, died July 18, 2007 in the Reading Hospital where she was taken after being shot earlier that morning, while working in the drive thru at McDonald's, Reading.

She was born November 4, 1966 in Rockledge, Florida, she was a daughter of Donald A. and Donna M. (Wilkes) Stormer of Battlecreek, Michigan.

Shawnee was a 1985 graduate of North Chicago High School and a graduate of the PACE institute.

She was employed for 4 1/2 years with McDonald's, Reading, working the last 3 years as an assistant manager.

Shawnee was also employed the last six years as a bartender with The Whipping Post, Reading, last working on Monday.

She is also survived by three sons, Christopher J., of Reading, Brandon S. husband of Allison G. (Coleman) Koch of Reading and Eric C. of Pottsville.

Other survivors include a brother, Michael J. Stormer of Flint, Michigan and a sister, Dawn M. Stormer of Battlecreek, Michigan.

She was expecting the arrival of her first grandson on September 8th.

Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611, with the Rev. Carol B. Kehler officiating.
