Sharron Lee Auman, 58, of West Charles Street, Lower Heidelberg Township, died of natural causes March 15 at 1:43 p.m. in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville, where she had resided since Feb. 2.

She was the wife of David L. Auman.

Born in Chicago, she was a daughter of Warren and Alice (Duvall) Deem, Annandale, Va.

Auman was employed for the past eight years as accounting manager by Penske Truck Leasing, Reading.

She was a 1963 graduate of Alameda High School, Lakewood, Colo., and a 1981 graduate of Albright College with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She became a certified management accountant in 1989.

Auman was president of the Berks Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants in 1990.

She was a past board member of the Star Series and a past chairwoman of allocations for the United Way of Berks County.

Auman was a member of St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Lower Heidelberg Township.

She is also survived by a son, Charles Kramer, Coatesville; and two daughters, Katherine (Kramer) Hagee, Wernersville, and Cynthia (Hewing) Johnson, Denver, Lancaster County.

Other survivors include a stepson, Jeffrey Auman, Kent, Wash.; and a stepdaughter, Beth M. Auman, a student at Pennsylvania State University, State College.

Also surviving are two sisters, Carol (Deem) Nugent, Sterling, Va., and Joyce (Deem) Jacobsmeyer, Colorado Springs, Colo.

There are also nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Lower Heidelberg Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
