Sharon L. Hafer

Sharon L. (Young) Hafer, 64, of Robeson Township, passed away November 9, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Donald R. Hafer.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty Young.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School.

Sharon was employed by Dr. Glenn Ruoss and Dr. Michael Latourelle of Mt. Penn as the office manager.

She was an avid piano player and had green thumb and passion for gardening and landscaping.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two step-children: Dawn, wife of Michael Calpino, Shillington; and Sean Hafer, fiancé to Drema Marks, Gibraltar; four step-grandchildren: Christopher; Celeste; Cory; and Bradley; and three beloved dogs: Snickers; Katie; and Heidy.

A Memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private.
