Sharon L. Fichthorn

Sharon L. (Umbenhouer) Fichthorn, 72, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at St. Joesph's Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Thomas C. Fichthorn. They got married in 1972 and shared 46 wonderful years before his passing.

Born in Reading, Sharon was the daughter of the late William and Esther (Young) Umbenhouer. She graduated from Muhlenberg High School. She was proud to be able to remain home and care for her children. Sharon enjoyed reading, and watching television and movies, especially the Hallmark channel.

Those treasuring Sharon's memory are her children: Michael Fichthorn (Kimberly), and Sandy Fichthorn; her grandchildren Felisha Gambler, Tyler Fichthorn and Luis Gomez.

A time of gathering will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
