Sharon D. Wanner

Sharon D. (Clewell) Wanner, 74, passed away May 25, 2015 in her South Heidelberg Township residence.

She was the widow of Ronald R. Wanner.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Richard W., Sr. and Mildred H. (Haas) Clewell.

She was a graduate of West Reading High School and Kutztown State College earning her B.S. in Elementary Education.

Sharon worked for Aetna Insurance, Reading as a customer service representative for 20 years. She also worked for Berkshire Health Partners for nine years, retiring in 2006.

She was a member of Wyomissing Church of the Brethren.

Sharon was a member of the Women's Club of Spring Township and the West Lawn Senior Citizens.

She will be greatly missed by her dog and cats.

Sharon is survived by two children: Craig B. Wanner, Spring Township and Heather J., wife of Thomas Hackman, South Heidelberg Township and her sister, Mary Beth Clewell and life partner, Laurie Neuin, Reading.

She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jeffrey, Janiyah, Jason and Jolee Hackman.

Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Richard W. Clewell, Jr.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Rd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Burial will be private. Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church.
