Sebastian Zampelli

Sebastian "Sam" Zampelli, 87, of Kenhorst, passed away April 9, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Patricia A. ( Lecatsas) Zampelli.

Born in Chester, PA, he was a son of the late Donato and Adele (Sacco) Zampelli.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.

Sebastian was a life member of Victor Emmanuel Beneficiary Association.

He served in the Air Corps United States Army during WWII .

He was employed by Reading Foundry as a plumbing supplier, retiring in 1985.

In addition to his wife, there are two daughters, Adele (Zampelli) wife of Allen Becker, Philadelphia; Mary Jane Zampelli, Exeter Township; two step-children, Debra ( Reber) wife of Carl Belcastro, Bernville; Jase husband of Susan (Bennett) Reber, Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, Dominic Zampelli, Kenhorst; Dr. Michael Zampelli, Wyomissing; two sisters, Helen (Zampelli) Intelisano, Reading; Concetta (Zampelli) Notario, Kenhorst; one grandchild, Tori Jane Becker, Philadelphia; four step-grandchildren, one step-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Sebastian is predeceased by four siblings, Mary Sanchez; Marzio Zampelli; Nicholas Zampelli, and Elizabeth Clauser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church 237 Franklin St., Reading, PA 19601. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
