Scott Wayne Walton, 64, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Jimmy Moore and Gladys B. Walton. Scott was a graduate of Reading High School. Albright College employed him as a Landscaping Specialist.
Scott is survived by his eight siblings: Lloyd (Valderez), Kevin, Drew Alan (Bridget), Curtis (Yonette), Malik, and sisters, LaTreese (Don), Patience (Robert), and Jaimee (Mark). He also survived by his daughter, Diamond Sabree, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends whom he adored.
Scott loved early mornings, when the sun first touched the horizon. He was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan. Scott enjoyed listening to jazz music, nature walks, bike riding, and all things in nature God made. He loved reading and collected various different books, was knowledgeable about the world, and was a man who consistently put others before himself. He loved spending time with family and friends. Scott would often hold deep conversations, was an active listener, and encouraged others to be their best selves. If you were his friend, you truly were loved. Scott fought a good fight and finished his race.
A viewing will be held, Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
I'll always remember:
The life we shared
The bond we had
The care and love you shared with others
The look we shared
The laugher, knowledge, encouragement, strength, and trust
The times we search for direction when life became hard
The way you loved your family
Your time and talent
Most of all,
The time our Father God gave to us.
