Scott Donald Noecker

Scott Donald Noecker, 77, of Mohnton, passed away on February 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, at Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Donald C. and Doris M. (Knappenberger) Noecker. Scott shared 27 years of love with his significant other, Lorre L. Witmer. He was very loyal to her and cherished their relationship. He is also survived by his sister, Marsha Bentz, of Wyomissing. Also surviving is his niece, Jennifer Bentz, significant other of Matthew Breitegam; nephew, Geoffrey Bentz, husband of Tonya Bentz; great-niece, Gracie; and great-nephews: Tony, Andrew, Erik, and Kollin.

Lorre's family became part of Scott's family during their many years together and he treated them as his own. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Kelly Bryniarski, wife of Kyle, of Mohnton; and grandchildren: Evan, Brayden, and Noah Bausher.

Scott was a 1965 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. During his schooling, he ran cross country and was on the wrestling team. Upon graduating, he served his country by joining the Army Reserve. Scott was a project manager and worked for Gilbert Associates, which became Worley Parsons, until his retirement in 2013.

Scott excelled as a softball player and found joy in reading and watching westerns on television. His greatest passion was spending quality time with his grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends and family will be received beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League at 58 Kennel Road Birdsboro, PA 19508.
