Scott A. Mengel

Scott A. Mengel, 61 of Hamburg died December 1, 2017 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township. He was born in West Reading and was the son of the late William I. and Marguerite S. (Huett) Mengel. He graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1974. Scott was a sheet metal worker-Local 19, Philadelphia, PA for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2011. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Port Clinton Fish & Game Association, Hamburg Legion and an A member of the Hamburg Fish and Game Association. Scott is survived by his former wife; Deborah E. Knoblauch, daughter; Courtney A. Mengel, son; Matthew M. Mengel, a granddaughter; Myla, brother; William "Billy" I. JR husband of Loretta Mengel and a nephew and niece. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
