Scott H. Link

Scott Henry Link, 96, formerly of West Reading, died October 24, 2009 at 2:45 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

His wife Elva (Ludwig) Link, died November 30, 2000.

Born October 16, 1913 in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Frederick W. and Florence (Sink) Link.

He was employed 25 years as a utility man, 1st class with Met-Ed until 1975.

Scott later worked 7 1/2 years as a maintenance man with Vicary's, West Reading, retiring in 1986.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Scott was a member of St. James Church, West Reading.

He is survived by a niece, J. Donna (Ludwig) Reinholtz of West Lawn and several other nieces and nephews.

Scott was predeceased by a sister, Amelia C. Leinbach.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Church, 644 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
