Scott F. Haage

Scott F. Haage, 64, died February 1, 2015, in his Kenhorst residence.

He was the husband of Betty M. (Berg) Haage. They were married on October 22, 1983.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late James F. and Cora (Burdick) Haage.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School class of 1968 and attended Reading Business Institute.

Scott was employed as an accounting and payroll clerk for Bob Fisher Chevrolet for 43 years, last working on January 15, 2015.

He was a U.S. Army Reserves veteran serving from 1970 to 1976.

Scott was an avid Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and Sixers fan.

He enjoyed Nascar and playing golf.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael J., husband of Dawn Haage, Reading; his step-son, James J., husband of Kristi Oldham, Kenhorst; his twin brother, Steve, husband of Denise Haage, Sinking Spring; his sister, Sandi Harbach, companion of Sam Lucchese, Sinking Spring; two grandchildren, Nathan Brown and Trinity Haage and his grand dog, Dolcina.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading PA, 19605.
