Scott S. Adams

Scott S. Adams, 75, passed away on October 13, 2022, at Bayhealth Hospital of Dover, DE. He was the husband of Marlene (Behlor) Adams. They shared 54 wonderful years together.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Virginia (Peplau) Adams. Scott graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School. He was an Army Reserve Veteran. He was employed as a pipe fitter at Cartech for 30 years. He was also a salesman for Mahoning Outdoor Furnaces.

Scott was a lifetime member of Shartlesville Fish and Game, Shartlesville Fire Company, Strausstown Rod and Gun Club, Moose Lodge 523 of Hamburg and the American Legion of Bernville. Scott enjoyed playing his mini games on his iPad, clamming, boating, spending time at the casino and he was an avid TRUMP fan.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene, daughters, Pamela Guinther and husband Kenneth; Jodi Schrack and companion Russell; siblings: Barbara Parker, Joan Weidenhammer (Stanley), Paige Zeller (Richard), and Brooke Adams (Susan); and four grandchildren: Jordan Guinther, Colton Guinther, Ciara Guinther, and Julia Dunn.

Scott was predeceased by his son, Samuel, in 1975.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Hamburg. Committal services will be private.
