Sarah Lien Trang

Sarah Lien Trang, 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Nhon Trang. They were married on May 11, 1971, and shared 54 years of marriage together.

Born in Nam Dinh, Vietnam, Sarah was the daughter of the late Long Van Tran and Ai Thi Mai. She was a pharmacist in Vietnam in 1970 and attended Temple University School of Pharmacy, earning her Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy in 1984. She worked in the pharmacy at Reading Hospital for 26 years. Sarah took pride in her work and enjoyed her career. She was a member of Park Road Presbyterian Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and sister. In her free time, she loved to be home with her family. She also enjoyed cooking for everyone and donated to many charities.

In addition to her husband, Nhon, Sarah's memory will be cherished by her children: Peter Trang and wife Julia of San Antonio, TX, David Trang and wife Donna of Ellicott City, MD, Alfred Trang and wife Melissa of Philadelphia, PA and; 7 grandchildren: Andrew, Lauren, Josh, Colin, Maddie, Jordan, James; and 8 siblings: Phan, Thanh, Huyen, Thao, Thuy, Tam, Thuoc, Thanh in Vietnam. She is predeceased by her brother, Loan Van Tran; and her sister, Dung Bich Tran.

The funeral service for Sarah will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 3 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Family and friends may gather from 2 p.m. until the beginning of the service.
