Sarah Neal

Sarah Neal, 90, of Naples Street, Isanti, Minn., formerly of Fleetwood, died July 7 in Grandview Ministries, Cambridge, Minn., where she had resided two years.

Her husband, Glenn Neal, died in 1970.

Born in Fleetwood, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine (Weindt) Schlegel.

A registered nurse, Neal was last employed as a private-duty nurse.

She was a graduate of Fleetwood High School and the Community General Hospital School of Nursing.

Surviving are a son, Dennis Schlegel, Isanti, and a daughter, Martha (Schaeffer) Hughes, Brooklyn Park, Minn.

Other survivors include five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Herbert Eggert, in 1971.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Cemetery, Fleetwood. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
