Sarah J. DiSalvo, 76 formerly of St. Lawrence, died March 30, 2007 in ManorCare, Laureldale, where she had been since February 20, 1999.
Her husband Francis L. "Babe" DiSalvo died September 21, 1998.
Born in Robesonia, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Laura (Frantz) Crammer.
She was co-owner of Pete's Tavern, Reading for over 20 years.
Sarah was a graduate of Robesonia High School in 1947.
Survivors include six sons, James in New Hampshire, Thomas, Sr., Reading, Michael, Paoli, Robert, Pittsburgh, Richard, Coaldale and Matthew, Salina, OH; and one daughter Ann (DiSalvo) Woodie, Atlanta, GA. There are also four brothers, Harry Crammer, Lincoln Park, George Crammer, Sinking Spring, Gerald Crammer, Hyde Park and Vernon Crammer; and eight sisters, Dorothy Moyer, Annville, Betty Yoder, Topton, Jeanette Niles, Pottstown, Gloria Crammer, Reading, Merle Landis, West Lawn, Laura Schnee, Wolmelsdorf, Hildegard Roche, West Lawn and Patricia Clouser in Florida. Eleven grandchildren and one great grandson also survive her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
