Sarah E. Fick

Sarah Ellen Fick, 92 of Laureldale, died on January 11, 2007 at 12:10 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had be a patient since 2000.

She was the widow of Paul H. Fick who died September 11, 1988.

Born on September 12, 1915 in Reading she was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Mae (Jackson) Sowers.

Sarah was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed as a secretary with the Reading-Berks Auto Club, before retiring in 1986.

Sarah was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale where she was a former Sunday School Teacher.

Surviving is a son Denis F., husband of Joan E. (Rossi) Fick of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include five grandchildren and three great grandsons.

Sarah was predeceased by a son Paul R. Fick in 2005.

Services will be on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held from 12-12:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp.
