Sarah J. Bellanca

Sarah J. (Owens) Bellanca, 81 of Shillington, passed away September 28, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

She was the widow of Howard Wertz who died in August 1959 and her second husband, Lewis Bellanca, who died in January 1995.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Ramsdale) Owens.

Sarah is survived by two sons, Gerry D., husband of Susan Wertz, Mohrsville and Tab E. Wertz, Groveland, FL; her step-daughter, Rosalie Bellanca and her step-son, Joseph Bellanca, both of Reading.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
