Sara Sedlack

Sara Sedlack, 90, passed away March 19, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Eugene Sedlack, passed away September 6, 2000.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Mario and Paulina (Napoli) Scornavacchi.

She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic.

Sara is survived by her children, Barbara, wife of Patrick Driscoll, Naples, Florida; and Joseph, husband of Jeanianne Sedlack, Flourtown, PA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Carolyn, wife of Timothy Crowley and Christine Sedlack, great-grandchildren, Timothy and Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Peter Scornavacchi, Lucy Scornavacchi Napoli, Josephine Scornavacchi Hipp, and Dr. Joseph Scornavacchi.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Mausoleum Chapel, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Suite 900, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219.
