Sara A. Schaufert

Sara A. (Youmans) Schaufert, 85, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Southeastern Veterans Center. She was the widow of Robert C. Schaufert, who died January 29, 2009.

Born in Beaufort, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dolly M. (Bennett) and Robert P. Youmans, Sr.

Sara was a devoted mother and homemaker. A true social butterfly, she adored spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed soap operas.

She is survived by her son, Keith E. Hinkel, Sr. of Dover, DE, and grandson, Keith E. Hinkel, Jr, husband of Diana L. Hinkel, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Evan and Aiden.

Services will be private at the convenience of Sara's family.
