Sara L. Deprill

Sara L. (Miller) Deprill, 95, of Wyomissing, passed away August 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Her husband, Harold L. Deprill, died on January 18, 1989.

Born in Bernville, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Francis) Miller.

She was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School.

Sara was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She was the owner and operator of Sara L. Miller Dress shop, Reading. Sara also worked at the Heather Dress shop and Abe Lincoln Hotel. She most recently worked at Sue Crupi Creations, West Reading.

Sara volunteered for eleven years at the Reading Hospital.

She is survived by two children, Susan L., wife of Terry Crupi, Sr., Shillington and Harold L., husband of Sylvia Deprill, St. John's Island, SC; five grandchildren: Terry Crupi, Jr., Ryan Crupi, Harold Deprill, III., Michael Deprill and David Deprill; six great-grandchildren and one nephew, Scott Brooks, Reading.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the church.
