Santo Santiago Olmeda

Santo Santiago Olmeda, 70, of Temple, passed away November 4, 2017, at ManorCare, Laureldale.

Born in Humacoa, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Franciso Olmeda and Regalada Santiago.

He was employed by Luden's Candies from 1971 until his retirement in 2009.

He is survived by two children, Santo Olmeda, Jr., partner of Shannon Brendlinger, Sinking Spring and Suzi Rios, Reading. There are two siblings, Francisca Olmeda and Beinvenido Olmeda, both of Reading. Four grandchildren: Jocelyn Olmeda, Alyssa Olmeda, Johnathan Olmeda, and Desere Fargas also survive him.

Santo enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 12 to 2:30 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560.
