Santo C. Cerniglia

Santo C. Cerniglia, 70, died September 20, 2008 in his Kenhorst Borough residence.

He was the husband of Santina Elizabeth (Attinello) Cerniglia, whom he married September 30, 1967.

Born in Santo Stefano, Di Camastra, Sicily, Italy on May 18, 1938, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Maria (Cerniglia) Cerniglia.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Santo was a lodge member of the Victor Emmanuel Society, Reading.

He was employed 16 years with Rockwell International and then another 25 years with Reading Body Works, Inc., Reading, last working in December.

Santo also was employed as a cook for 35 years at Victor Emmanuels, Reading.

He is also survived by three children: Salvatore J. Cerniglia of Kenhorst; Maria J. (Cerniglia) Spinosa of Center Valley, Lehigh County and Lena J. Cerniglia of Kenhorst.

Other survivors include a brother; Biagio Cerniglia of Santo Stefano, Italy and three grandchildren: Marco J. Spinosa, Julian S. McDade and Alexa J. Spinosa.

He was predeceased by two sisters: Maria Gerbino and Giussepina Nigrelli.
