Santina Sandy Bruckart

Santina "Sandy" Bruckart (Guido), 90, of Womelsdorf passed away June 13, 2021 in her residence. She was the beloved mother of Geneva (Kirk) Aulenbach, with whom she resided; Tina (William) Kocevar, Wyomissing; and Sandra (David) Debiec, West Lawn.

Her husband Russel S. Bruckart, Jr. died on May 5, 2005.

She was born on December 5, 1930 in Reading to the late Luigi and Josephina (Pregonizzato) Guido both of whom immigrated to the United States in the early 1900s. She was proud of her Italian heritage, ensuring her children and grandchildren learned the customs and traditions of the Italian culture.

She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, West Lawn. She was employed by Western Electric and worked in various restaurants. She loved Jesus and her family above all. She devoted her life to her family and was a blessed caretaker of many. She loved spending time with her family, country drives, the beach, and her granddog Stormy.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a brother Samuel (Sally) Guido and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by seven siblings George, Philomena, Rose, Josephine, Orlando, Anthony and Santo.

Services will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
