Sandra Joan Wise

Sandra J. Wise, 64, of Reading, died June 12, 2007 at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Dorothy A. (Rhine) Schafer, Reading and the late William H. Schafer. Sr.

She was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School.

Sandy worked as a machine operator for Talbot Knitting Mills for a number of years and later worked at Polymer Corp. for 20 years. After her retirement, she dedicated herself as a full- time grandmother, where she was always involved in her grandchildren's activities.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Reading.

Sandy is survived by four sons, Derek M. Wise, Pleasantville, Daren A. Wise, Reading, Daniel R. husband of Jennifer R. Wise, Reading and Dustin K. Wise, Mohnton.

She is also survived by two brothers, Robert L. husband of Patricia Schafer, Laureldale, Paul R. husband of Debbie Schafer, Blandon, and three sisters, Regina L. wife of Jack Epler, Laureldale, Roberta L. wife of Butch Reppert, Leesport, and Kimberly A. Cooper, with whom she resided.

There are also six grandchildren, Carley A., Skylar R., Devyn R., Riley L., Joshua M. and Jacob M.

She was predeceased by one brother, William H. Schafer, Jr., and one sister, Judith M. Schafer.

Memorial Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. For online condolences, please visit www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
