Sandra Ann Scheetz

Sandra A. "Sandi" Scheetz, 66, passed away February 21, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in her Reading residence.

She was the beloved wife of Robert P. Scheetz, with whom she has celebrated 26 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the Arlene (Rudy) and the late Michael Hartz Jr.,

Sandra was graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and Albright and Alvernia University.

She was employed by Vist Tompkins Bank as a branch manager and VP for 30 years before retiring in 2011.

Sandra was a member of Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Melmont, PA.

She was a very active and adventurous individual, she enjoyed snorkeling, zip lining, salt water fishing . gourmet cooking, listening to music and entertaining and was an avid animal lover. Sandra loved to travel the world with her husband, especially Venice and Rome, and go on cruises. She was a very hardworking, friendly, personable and was a huge mentor and respected by all her peers.

Sandra was a member of the Board of Abilities in Motion and Rotary International , as a Sergeant of Arms.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her uncle, Gerald, husband of Heidi Hratz, Maine; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Wagner and Rosalind Graffius, canine companion, Gypsy Girl; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sandra was predeceased by her two canine companions, Bugsy and Mr. Capone.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
