Sandra Lee Kirn

Sandra Lee (Hobwood) Kirn, 58, died September 19, 2010 in her Wernersville residence.

She was the wife of John R. Kirn, Jr. whom she married August 12, 1972.

Born September 20, 1951 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Carl Edward, Sr. and Marie (Clemente) Hobwood.

Sandra was a 1969 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and a 1972 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

She was employed as a Registered Nurse with The Reading Hospital and Medical Center for 20 years and then Caron Foundation for 11 years, last working May of 2010.

Also surviving is her son, Benjamin J. Kirn, husband of Emily Denlinger of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; her brother, Carl E., Jr., husband of Georgene Hobwood of Robesonia and her sister Cindy Hobwood (Cox) of Morgantown.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday evening at 7 in Zion's Evangelical Reformed Church, 318 Spies Church Road, Alsace Township.
