Sandra J. "Sandi" Whitmoyer, 66, of West Reading, died November 26, 2010 in the Mifflin Center.

She was the wife of Barry I. Whitmoyer.

Born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, she was a daughter of the late J. Robert and Margaret (Rowley) Mogel.

She was a 1961 graduate of West Reading High School and a 1963 graduate of Reading Hospital School of Practical Nursing.

She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Flyers and Eagles.

Sandi retired from Aetna Insurance Co. in 2002 as a Claims Representative. Previously she worked at Vanity Fair, West Reading Ophthalmic and at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center as an L.P.N.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons: Todd R., husband of Heidi Whitmoyer, Wyomissing and Brett S. Whitmoyer companion of Kim Monjoy, New York, NY. Also surviving are her siblings: Jeffrey R. Mogel, Sinking Spring; Deborah P., wife of Richard Scull, Lower Heidelberg Township and Kathy R., wife of Kenneth Pasch, State College. Four nieces: Megan Hines, Ashley Scull, Shannon Pasch, Hillary Pasch, one god son, Collin Pasch, one grandniece, Reilly and one grandnephew, Shaffer also survive her.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. A visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flyers Wives Fight for Lives: 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19148.
