Sandra C. Herr

Sandra C. Herr, 85, passed away October 18, 2021, in Shillington, with her loving husband by her side.

She was the beloved wife of Paul L. Herr, with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Born in Evansville, IN, she was the daughter of the late Oscar A. and Catherine (Sullivan) Schymik.

Sandra was a graduate of Reitz Memorial High School and she also attended Immaculata University, Washington, DC.

She was a parishioner of St. John Baptist de La Salle. She also volunteered at the Meals-on- Wheels program for 26 years. She was also employed by Reading Merchant Oil Co., as an Office Administrator.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Michael C., husband of Katherine (Gardner) Herr, Wyomissing; and Amy C. Herr, Montomery, TX. She is also survived by her sister Martha Schymik; and three grandchildren, Maxwell, Jacob and Brittany.

Sandra was predeceased by her brother, John Schymik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 22, 2021 at 12 pm in the Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of St. George with entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made in honor of Sandra to Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County, 529 Reading Ave Suite C, West Reading, PA 19611. Edward J.
