Sandra Kachel Farrell

Sandra Lee (Kachel) Farrell, 76, formerly of Shillington, passed away in her Paoli residence on November 28, 2022.

She was the loving wife of Thomas Lynn Farrell who passed away in April, 2021. They celebrated 53 years of marriage before his passing.

Born in Shillington, Sandra was the 2nd of four daughters to the late Fern Pershonic Kachel.

She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in 1964 and was a bookkeeper for a local law firm before marrying Tom and devoting her life to her daughter and husband.

Sandra enjoyed dancing with Tom every chance she had and traveling with Tom to Aruba and Grand Cayman yearly. She loved the warmth of the sun and sand and clear waters. Sandra was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her 20's and was determined to focus on her long term health so she could continue living her best life with Tom and their daughter, Sloane.

Sandra is survived by her only child, Sloane (Farrell) LePage married to Alexander P. LePage; two grandchildren Margaux and Pierce; and three sisters: Jacqueline Farrier, Kim Kachel and Jill Kachel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Assistance Fund at https://tafcares.org which provides medical funding to MS patients (they also fund many other rare, chronic and life threatening disease grants as well). This grant program, which was most important to the Farrell family, supplied medication to Sandra, that she would otherwise not have been able to afford, since 2009. Services and burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
