Samuel F. White

Samuel Franklin White, Sr., 62, died March 28th at 8:40 am of natural causes in his residence in Ontelaunee Township.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harold L. Sr., and Helen M. (Freeman) White.

He was last employed as a laborer for White Brothers Roofing, Ontelaunee Township, last working in 2000.

White is survived by four sons, Samuel F. Jr., of Pittsburgh, Andrew of Pittsburgh, Shawn M. of Exeter Township and Kenneth Trumborn of Bern Township.

Other survivors include four daughters, Terri L. White of Reading, Roxanne White of Pittsburgh, Julie L. White of Pittsburgh and Mary Jane White of Reading.

There is also a sister, Miriam L. (White) Lindenmuth of Leesport and three brothers, Harold L. White, Jr., of Reading, Charles White of Leesport and John White of Reading.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Friday 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
