Samuel Stamson

Samuel Stamson, 64, of Cumru Twp., passed away May 1, 2017, in the Reading Hospital surrounded by loving family and friends.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James and Florence (Nicholas) Stamson.

He was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Clausius). They would have celebrated 30 years of marriage May 9.

Sam was a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg Twp. High School and attended Berkeley School of Music in Boston, MA.

He was employed by Electric Coil Services since 1996, last serving as Vice President of Sales.

Sam was a jazz guitarist and loved music, the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and classic cars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his step-son, Kevin Driscoll, his partner Patty Bearup and step-grandson, John Driscoll, Phoenix, AZ.
