Samuel Pulice, Jr., 86, of Reading, died November 5, 2007 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Mary K (Hickman) Pulice.

Born in Clarksburg, WV, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary (Leonett) Pulice.

He retired from General Motors, Detroit, MI after 32 years in July of 1983. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Reading to be near his daughter and her family. He worked at Sears, Wyomissing for 10 years in the display department. He also served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shriners, West Reading.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

Mr. Pulice was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

He is also survived by his daughter, Sandra L. wife of Frank Mileto, Mohnton; one brother, Thomas husband of Vickie Pulice, Bridgeport, WV; and one sister, Rose (Pulice) Danes, Clarksburg, WV. Two grandchildren, Carie Seymour, York and Jason Mileto, Pittsburgh; three great-grandchildren, Samuel, Carlie and Frank and 2 step great-granddaughters, Kristin and Megan also survive him. He was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Entombment will be in Pleasant View Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J.
