Samuel Notobartolo

Services were held for Mr. Samuel Notobartolo who entered into rest with his loving family by his side on Friday, January 22, 2010 in Encinitas, CA.

He was 84.

Sam was born and raised in Reading, PA.

He served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps during WWII.

After the war, Sam then began a life long career as a meat cutter. He worked as a meat cutter for over 60 years, mastering and teaching his profession.

Sam loved music and enjoyed playing guitar.

He and his wife moved to San Diego, CA in March of 2009 to be near family. Sam was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather.

Sam is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth, daughter & son-in-law Patricia & George Karetas, son & daughter-in-law Theodore & Kathleen Yocum , 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services were held at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cardiff, CA. He was laid to rest in Charles Evans Cemetery in Reading, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sts.
