Samuel L. Kepner

Samuel L. Kepner, 53 of Reading died January 17th in Manor Care, West Reading, PA. He was born in West Reading and was the son of Daniel M. Kepner, Sr. of Shoemakersville and Gloria (Degler) Kepner of Reading. He was predeceased by his adoptive mother, Sandra L. Knarr who died June 21st, 2010. Samuel was a 1977 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and an Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers: Daniel M. Kepner, Jr., Richard K. Kepner, Sr. both of Shoemakersville, and Thomas J. Kepner of Easley, SC. He is also survived by his sisters: Sue wife of Wilson Ludwig, Reading, Pa and Jennifer D. wife of Michael Konnick of Hamburg. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg, Pa. Burial will be private.
