Samuel G. Geiss, Jr., 83, born and raised in West Reading, passed away January 28, 2014 in Indianapolis,

IN.

He is survived by his wife of close to 50 years Mary (Grebe) and a son, A.J., both of Indianapolis, IN.

Born February 6, 1930 in West Reading he was a son of the late Samuel G. Geiss, Sr., and Elsa (Corin)

Geiss.

Sam worked as a telephone installer for Bell Telephone for 35 years.

He was a Life Member of the West Reading Fire Company and former Assistant Chief of the company.

Sam was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Sam was a life-long Indy Car fan enjoying many hours at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway through the years.
