Saifuddin Ahmed

Saifuddin Ahmed, 84, died May 20, 2009 in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the husband of Fatima Sughra (Khan) Ahmed, to whom he married on June 4, 1950.

Born in Brooch, India, he was a son of the late Ziauddin and Jamila Ahmed.

He as a physician for many years in Pakistan, England and the United States, until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Saeeduddin, husband of Melvia E. Ahmed, Wyomissing. There are two brothers, Moeenuddin Ahmed, Pakistan and Rafeeuddin Ahmed, Manhattan, NY; and one sister, Salma Salim, Pakistan. Three grandchildren, Sanaa N. Ahmed, Zeba S. Ahmed and Azam B. Ahmed also survive him.

He was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters.
