Sadie V. Sharadin

Sadie Viola (Lutz) Sharadin, 93, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died of natural causes May 12th at 5:05 am in Berks Heim, Bern Township, where she has been since December 11, 2003.

She was the wife of Harry Sharadin, a resident of Berks Heim.

Born in Alsace Township, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Sallie (Fick) Lutz.

She was first employed at Rosedale Knitting Mills and later as a packer for various local candy manufacturers before retiring.

Sharadin is also survived by a daughter, Joan A. (Sharadin) wife of Leonard Rauenzahn of Muhlenberg Township.

There are also two grandchildren, Lisa Helbert and Lori Knarr.

Other survivors include a great granddaughter, Brittney Wixon.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:00am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
