Sabine B. Werner

Sabine B. Werner, 86, died August 2, 2013 in her daughter's West Reading residence.

She was the wife of C. Russell Werner who died December 30, 1976.

Born September 17, 1926 in Grosshabersdorf, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Heinrich and Dorathea (Diehm) Kohler.

Sabine was employed as a seamstress and pattern maker with The Marilyn Shop and other fine dress shops on North Fifth Street. Following that, she was employed as a transporter with Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristen D., wife of Jason Norris of West Reading; her step-daughter, Karen, wife of Fred Barth of Reading; her brother, Hermann Kohler of Grosshabersdorf, Germany; her grandson, Mitchell Norris; two step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.

Sabine was predeceased by her brother, Georg Kohler.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Shillington.
