S. Josephine (Flynn) Dybalski, 84, of 20 South Summit Ave., Shillington died December 22nd at 9:30 am in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since 12/4/2002.
She was the widow of Joseph A. Dybalski who died August 14, 1993.
Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada she was a daughter of the late John and Loretta (McIsaac) Flynn.
She was a 1937 graduate of Reading Catholic High School and a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing.
Dybalski was a co-owner and operator of Dybalski's Catering Service, Wyomissing for 25 years until her retirement.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Dybalski was a volunteer for a number of years for Meals on Wheels of Berks County.
She is survived by five daughters, Margaret J. (Dybalski) Ziats of West Reading, Mary E. (Dybalski) Christman of Wyomissing, Susan P. (Dybalski) Krick of Laureldale, Kathryn A. (Dybalski) Hunter of St. Lawrence and Christine M. (Dybalski) Hydock of Millmont.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Memorial mass will be celebrated Friday December 27th at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading. Friends may call 9:30 am - 10:00 am in church. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Reading. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Stanley Hydock Memorial Fund c/o Holy Name High School, 955 East Wyomissing Ave., Reading, Pa 19611 or to Sacred Heart Memorial Fund, PO Box 6217, Wyomissing, Pa 19610.
