Ruth I. Zimmerman

Ruth I. Zimmerman, 91, formerly of Bern Township, went home to be with the lord Thursday, April 29, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of Norman C. Zimmerman, "predeceased" and mother to Peter C. Zimmerman.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence (Baer) Keim.

Ruth was a member of Schuylkill Valley Bible Chapel.

She was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School.

In addition to her husband, Ruth was predeceased by a son, Gordon B. Zimmerman, who died in 1957, and a sister Sarah E. (Keim) Dubble, who died in 1988.

Services will be private. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's honor to Schuylkill Valley Bible Chapel, 693 Irish Creek Rd, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Online condolences may be expressed at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
