Ruth R. Oueslati

Ruth R. Ouslati, 66, of Reading, passed away in her residence on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Born in Red Hill, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late January and Maria (Klinge) Jaszczak.

She graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1974.

A friendly, social woman who took great joy in helping others, Ruth's presence will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She held a deep reverence for nature and loved animals of all kinds, though she especially enjoyed the antics of squirrels. Her dogs, Cain and Dream, were her dearest companions. She loved everyone, especially her family. She loved to dance and enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time to decorate. Ruth was deeply spiritual and cherished angels, both in her décor and in her life.

She most recently worked as a caregiver, an extension of her desire to help others.

Ruth's memory will be cherished by her children: Kimberly Jelassi, companion of Daniel Brooks, of Muhlenberg, with whom Ruth resided; Amber Moser of Hamburg; Joseph Parry III of Sinking Spring; and Jarett Parry, husband of Kelli, of Denver; her grandchildren: Amir and Jasmin Jelassi; Anya Green, Lanaija, and Trayana Holt; and Sean, Liliana, and Emily Parry; and her great grandson, Malikai Schaeffer. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Jaszczak of Red Hill; her nephews, Raymond Jaszczak Jr. and Thomas Henry; her niece, Diana Henry; and her former spouse and best friend, Joseph Parry Jr. of Mohnton.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her sister, Rosita Henry.

A Celebration of Life for Ruth will be held at a later date.
