Ruth N. Weisser

Ruth N. (Madary) Weisser, 83, formerly of 3309 Oak Street, Laureldale died September 3rd at 4:10 p.m. in ManorCare Health Care Services, Inc., Muhlenberg Township where she had been since April 12, 2002.

She was the widow of Ellwood W. Weisser who died May 5, 1992.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Ziegenfuss) Madary.

She was the owner/operator for 50 years at Weisser's Deli in the Fairgrounds Market, Muhlenberg Township until her retirement in 2000.

Weisser is survived by a son, Barry L. Weisser husband of Betty (Miller) of Laureldale.

She is also survived by two granddaughters, Michele Skwiat of Hyde Park and Dawn Sgrignoli of Bethel.

Other survivors include three great granddaughters, Caitlyn Manmiller of Bethel; Ashley and Amber Skwiat of Hyde Park.

Services will be Friday 11:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
