Ruth M Mercado

Ruth M. Mercado, 75, passed away on December 10, 2023 in her Reading residence. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Bernardino Mercado. Ruth worked as a housekeeper, but her true passion was her family. She was known to be the pillar of her family, making it a priority to spend as much time with them as possible. She will always be remembered for her caring heart and her generosity.

Those left to treasure her memory are her children: Ruth Rivera, Joseph Rivera, Joel Rivera, Angel Rivera, Dennys Rosa, and Katherine Simmons; her 21 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her son, Steven Rosa.
