Ruth E. Meck

Ruth E. Meck, 86, died Sunday, March 26, in Country Meadows, Wyomissing.

Meck, formerly of Front St., Reading, was predeceased by her husband Chester W. Meck, on December 20, 1979.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Geckle) Wolf.

Meck was employed for twelve years as a salesperson at Jack Gerber Shoes, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Mt. Penn.

Surviving is one sister, Florence (Wolf) Wheeler, West Reading.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Twp. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Mt.Penn.
