Ruth May Waldman

Ruth May (Leininger) Waldman, 88, formerly of West Reading, died September 10, 2012, in Berks Heim.

Born in Cressona, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late John and Edna (Bertlet) Leininger.

She was employed for 15 years by Leisure Hall Bingo.

Ruth was an honorary member of the Jaycees.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Brenda Ziegler, West Reading; three grandchildren, Christan Ziegler, Bethany O'Neil and Crystal Ziegler and two great-grandchildren, Aryella Hoover and Cadence O'Neil.

She was predeceased by six siblings, Anna Leininger, John Leininger, twins, Jean Leininger and June Brown, Thelma Smith and Harry Leininger.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to,: Alzheimer's Association, 237 Court St., Reading, PA 19601.
