Ruth Mae Fisher

Ruth Mae Fisher, 92, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died January 20, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Joseph Daniel Fisher who died February 2, 1986.

Born May 26, 1920 in Iona, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the later Calvin Haak and Sallie (Gundrum) Krall.

Ruth was employed as a pairer with numerous hosiery mills from 1938-1963.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Reading.

Surviving is her brother, Warren Levi Krall, widower of Martha (Kozlowski) of Muhlenberg Township.

She was predeceased by three siblings: Martha Walker, Clayton Eugene Krall and Lester Krall.

Services will be Monday at 12 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
